Unbelievable Day!

Christmas Eve was wonderful… Spent in Kauleani with Osala and her family in a stunningly beautiful mountaintop village. Children came for welcome ceremony.. We brought along a tree with lights, chocolates, and presents for the girls and the village. The children had never heard of Christmas but loved hearing the Christmas story, sang along with Christmas carols, and continued to repeat “happy Christmas!!!”

Billy Brenda Daniels …this one is for you! The girls from Chitwan were SO excited about the scarves you made for them- they said to tell “mam” Merry Christmas. The bright colors against their beautiful dark skin and their big smiles and squeals of excitement said it all!

The career conference takes a lot of work to organize presentations, entertainment, and scholarship ceremony. Great job volunteers!!!

A few more… They are so beautiful! The first little one I met on Christmas Day last year while conducting home visits.. She would not say a word.. That has changed😏 the third little one is wearing the leopard scarf I took off my neck and gave here last year.. She whispered “I’ll never forget you” … Almost did me under… It is amazing how they remember details and anticipate our return
