Wonderful week with department of Psychology faculty and collaborating on article .
Mass was beautiful and very emotional as weary friends filed in and sat to pray together. Final goodbyes were very hard but we walked away feeling very very blessed to have had such a meaningful Camino.
Thank you Mr. Ralph Andy for inviting us to join you for dinner this evening at the Parador Hotel with new friends we met on our journey! What a lovely evening… Just think What the world would be like without countries… Just people relating to people… A glimpse of that tonight… What a joyous gift!
great last day out onthe trail… We actually walked about 16 miles and have the blisters to prove it! Hate to see this journey come to an end.
Walking about 16 miles on this rainy day and sharing the trail with new friends from Australia, U.K., Italy, Germany and Spain of course! What a lovely experience!!! Tomorrow we will walk into Santiago!
13 miles today. Our instructions were to arrive in Arzua, locate the tourist information center, and have them call our rural lodging to send sa driver. Easy easy, right?
Nope! Tourist info center closed, no one speaking English for miles… But we figured it out and finally made it to the most exquisite country inn… Well worth the trouble! Great day!
14 miles of rural Spain… After today we will move through more populated areas. We are right at half way. Tomorrow morning we should cross the 50 km mark! Beautiful weather so far… We are doing just great and meeting lots of amazing people!
