Need Shelter
i drove from the airport in alexandria this morning at 4:30 am and was in the storm that passed through. When I had to pull off the highway because i couldn’t see the road I sat and thought of families under tarps with the monsoons coming. So, I sat on the side of the road and began to connect in Nepal to broker tents and tarps, any type of shelter… Leaving human beings out in those elements with no shelter is just unacceptable… We have to do better.

NEPAL EARTHQUAKES 2015

I am blessed to go participate in disaster relief following the earthquakes. The plan is to fly June 1, in 2 weeks. I am gathering supplies and working my way through the long list of things necessary to travel. Thought I would open the blog and start to document this journey.

Last Hoorah-28 miles from Finesterra to MuxiaÂ
a day to remember! A rugged, steep, 28 miles but the beauty of it was so so worth the effort. Very fulfilling way to end this adventure!
