Final grades due for summer session 1…. We hogged the computers at the hotel … ALL DONE!!!!  

Afternoon ride across Georgia…. Stops for fresh blackberries and blueberries; photos of Woodbury where walking dead was set; dinner at authentic Vietnamese restaurant; drive around historic homes of Macon. Awesome day together!          

We started our day with coffee and a family pow wow over a good old fashioned atlas and decided that Selma, AL would be our first stop. We read the history of “Bloody  Sunday”   And then went to walk across the Edmund Petus Bridge where history was made regarding the Voting Rights Act. 

a few sweet days at home in MS. with family. We made fresh cobblers, went to Leatha’s for BBQ, watched movies together, and cheered on the US  women’s soccer team in World Cup quarter finals.

i am exhausted, emotional-a mess over leaving and can’t wait to get home, I stink, have on seriously dirty clothes, but I had PAssng drop me in Thamel for just a few hours of alone time ( first in 2weeks)  and ice cream at fire and ice ( helps everything) before making my way back to pack and shower for the trip home… My work is done here. … For now!

is an amazing organization in Nepal that hires only women who have been referred from rescue shelters. They make beautiful handmade item and sell fair trade. The ladies at FUMC sent me to purchase items to bring home for fall market , which supports the women, and the proceeds will go to ENG scholarships. Beautiful circle of women helping women…, 

… With 9 hours to spare before I catch my flight for Doha… Lots to do! Pick up order from beauty for ashes, deliver medical supplies for leprosy mission hospital outpost clinics and say some final goodbyes… Maybe a few hours in Thamel if lucky! And definitely a hot shower!!!!
