KENTUCKY

Love these kids to the moon & back… Love seeing them together!  Family time! We sat out on the deck talking and laughing late into the night and then picked right back up the moment we awoke as we all shuffled out with coffee one by one to soak up all the moments possible before time to go.

New Hampshire

21 years ago Mike & I traveled through New Hampshire camping out in our 2 person tent because we didn’t have money for hotels at the time. It was a wonderful trip back then and we stayed in beautiful places in the mountains. One of our favorite spots was Polly’s Pancake House, a pancake/fresh maple syrup house we found out in the woods. Today we actually found that same spot again with Bryce while exploring the mountains, also a Moulton Farm, and some beautiful covered bridges along the way!

MAINE

a few days on the coast of Maine at Old Orchard Beach. We have eaten lobster right off the boats (twice 😳), played on the beach, and enjoyed the boardwalk.  Fun sitting on the pier just sharing stories and laughing… Sounds like Bryce had a really special group of kids at the writing workshop and had a great experience. It’s really the simple moments sharing that matter the most.

Together

after three great weeks hanging out in the Bershires on the lake, concerts, kayaking, theater, hiking, and zip lining we FINALLY got our kid back! He had an incredible experience.  I am one happy mama! Our next stop -Ben & Jerrys in Vermont, then the Von Trapp Family Lodge. We love Vermont-just stunning this time of year! I love my little family and I love exploring together- the world just feels right when we can just hang out! My favorite place in the world,? Easy… With my guys!!!!

Jimmy’s Peak

great climb to the top of Jimmy’s Peak today… Kicked out butts but was an awesome hike.my legs were so fatigued from the incline they were shaking when we got to the car. Mike picked wild raspberries and daisies for me… Keeper. Stopped for wings on the way home and that fixed everything! Life is so so good!

Day on the Lake

Judy left to go home this morning after a great family weekend. Mike and I worked on classes in the morning and then took the kayaks on the lake for a spin. Took a hike afterward. It’s been a quiet day hanging out together… Blessed.

Polka Lessons

what better place to teach your kid to polka than with the locals at the Polish Festival! Love love these moments!!!! Some of my favorite memories of Mike’s Mom & Dad are of them dancing the polka with all of us kids gathered around grinning at their joy together before we all joined in pairing off to include all the family young and old at family celebrations!. There is a Moulton tradition to keep up… Moulton men got some moves! So much fun to dance with and here comes the next generation!

Pittsfield Mass

spent the day just hanging out with Judy & Mike in the mountains, stopping at small shops and exploring. Came home for a great meal on our porch ( thanks Mike!) and then went to the theater to see Neil Simon’s play “Lost In Yonkers”
