Rising Ray Science Lab

Bryce raised the money for his birthday in December (thanks to all who donated) to fund 7 science labs with Empower Nepali Girls! Today was the dedication of the first one at Rising Rays School. Perfect start because these kids are Bryce’s Nepali friends, he has know them and helped raised scholarships for some of the girls since he was 12. Bryce Moulton you make your mom and dad proud every single day-way to go son! ❤️

Better!

Returning to the land of the living… These past few days have been rough but I have rested and spent time reading and learning more about this place I have grown to love. I woke up feeling better and it is time to roll. There are less than 2 weeks and 6 schools to cover. Home stretch…. Finish strong!

Me Too!

We left the school and went to the river. Found a table under a thatched roof, a warm Coke, and I promptly took a brief rest in the 100 degree temp. (As my friends? Snapped photos, I’ll spare everyone from the one where I’m drooling!) Too hot to eat, too hot to move and the back of our cargo van is not the first option so we will just hang out a bit. Life is Good!

REST

This little guy was so excited he wore himself out! We played with the doll and We named her aanju and she gave lots of kisses that brought giggles before exhaustion took over. What a day!

& In Between

The looks on these little faces when we let them come into their new classroom was a vision I will carry in my heart forever. Look closely at their faces as we play/teach using the new materials. Everyone that helped make this happen… Great job!!! I hope you feel some of the joy through these photos!

Bachhuli Pre-K

Three schools in three days in rural Chitwan in 100degree temps and no AC , breathing tons of dust and no ice for me ( not safe) is taking its toll on me, I’m dragging but we are in this to win it and the kids are waiting. Our first pre-k room today, so exciting! Our cargo van is loaded and ready with materials that arrived last night.
