So tonight I would like you to practice mindfulness in the midst of getting ready. Pay attention to the details of the world we are privileged to live in; your bed, your water, your electricity and all that means, your safety, your hot water ( unlimited) …. the list goes on and on. You will not be the same when you return from Nepal in the nicest of ways. You will not see the world as you do tonight. You will be more thankful, more aware, more compassionate.

NEPAL EARTHQUAKES 2015

I am blessed to go participate in disaster relief following the earthquakes. The plan is to fly June 1, in 2 weeks. I am gathering supplies and working my way through the long list of things necessary to travel. Thought I would open the blog and start to document this journey.

Almost Time

I am packed with bags by the door to leave after church in the morning. I have three fifty pound bags, a carry on, and a back pack. Only minimal clothes but lots of materials for the children in Nepal. A huge thank you goes out to every individual and group that contributed to the scholarship of a girl. I look forward to sharing this adventure with everyone!
