The streets of Barcelona are lined with very small local markets with fresh foods. Each shop is specialized ( bread, fruit, veggies, meats, fresh pastas, etc) Most evenings we walk along our street and pick out ingredients for small wonderful evening meals. We love this ritual,.

Spent the day rambling the streets of Barcelona. Found the Nescafé boutique store and Gaudí museum. So many little roads and shops/cafes that connect beautiful tree-lined promenades. I’m pretty sure the amount of coffee we are drinking is well above recommended amounts!👀

Bryce has to get back to his job at Tulane so he is flying out this morning. The time together has been so wonderful!

On our way in tonight we stopped at village shops to gather fresh ingredients. People shop daily in local shops for only what they need that day in these small villages . We got hand made pastas, roasted vegetables in olive oil, fresh bread, mushrooms, apricot tart, and local wine! Sooooo amazing! We better hike more miles!😂

Last day of hiking in the mountains. Got caught in a rain storm . It all is so gorgeous, rain, snow, sunshine, all of it!
