We spent hours gathering early childhood supplies to distribute. There is such a small variety and quantity of supplies available that we felt like we had made a major score! Teamwork!

Wash Day
Thank you each and every person that has donated and continues to donate to the water tanks and scholarships. Each morning I wake up to emails and crowdrise notifications of donations. We pay for water tanks next week and the need for scholarships for our girls never goes away. Thank you for being part of life changing moments that could not happen without you! If you have thought of giving but haven’t yet, make today the day. Help make the difference in the life of a family by providing clean water or the life of a girl through an opportunity for education!

JOY & FAITH
Up since 2:30 am trying to figure out details of supplies, transportation, and logistics…. I keep reminding myself that worry takes up the space in your heart where joy and faith live. Deep breath and I choose JOY & FAITH! I’m going to have an awesome day meeting new people and learning new things while I tackle these challenges. We got this! Goodnight Nepal!
No Clue
There is never a dull moment! Today started with government approvals followed by logistical coordination for team travel schedule. Then across Nepal to meet with consultants on rain water collection methods and installation. This is sometjing I know little to nothing about but I’m learning fast! I have a clue now & a supply list. Tomorrow will start finding materials pricing? Negotiating, organizing transport, etc. Nothing like jumping right in… leaps of faith! It is important in life to test your bounce, your resilience. I bounce pretty good apparently! Ok I gotta bounce on to the next thing, prep for tomorrow’s meeting with the education folks at the American Embassy!

Leaders
I posted information about our eng leadership and our older volunteers that will travel with us and serve as team members/interpreters on our trip to Borang next week. We also had a bit of photo fun at the end of our orientation day. They are so much fun to be with. Developing leadership for the future of girls in Nepal and having a bit of sillinesswhile we work.
