A Mother’s Heart

Mamas all over the world share a bond that does not require the same language. It is the bond of a loving, protective, sacrificing, mother’s heart. A heart that wants better for our children, a heart that loves them beyond compare.

Ramro Chili!

It may not seem like much, but it was a major treat for me. It is amazing what one can do with a can of kidney beans, a can of tomatoes, a chili seasoning  pack brought from home, and some nak cheese!

Uuhhmmm…

This rather large monkey in the background is hanging outside my apartment and keeps looking in my windows… no lie… really?!?!?! Rather unsettling. 😳🙄😬

On My Own Again

The last of the U.S. Team flew out early this morning. I am on my own in Nepal again with lots to accomplish. Closing out semester at NSU on-line.  Water Project complete so now on to university business in Nepal starting tomorrow. There is a science lab to complete for Evans & Judy Mcyntire for their 50th, an early childhood safe learning space for mothers against poverty, follow-up with the embassy, and supplies to deliver. No time to waste. Deep breath…. let’s go!

Sari G.

The team water project is over now and this crazy, brave , compassionate human is on her way to the airport to head back to New York. Sari, I will really miss you in so many ways. Thank you for everything. Friends like you are rare. Friends through the best, the worst, the scariest, and the craziest adventures. Making a difference together. Love you!
