34 Hours Later
We made it! Through China with few hiccups and into the warm welcome with Khatas at the airport!

The Team
Made it to the airport and ready to roll. Here we come Nepal ( by way of JFK and China) gonna take about 34 hours!
Note to Students
So tonight I would like you to practice mindfulness in the midst of getting ready. Pay attention to the details of the world we are privileged to live in; your bed, your water, your electricity and all that means, your safety, your hot water ( unlimited) …. the list goes on and on. You will not be the same when you return from Nepal in the nicest of ways. You will not see the world as you do tonight. You will be more thankful, more aware, more compassionate.
Test I Week Out
Heading back to Nepal so I’m opening up the blog again. The first 10 days will be spent with eight amazing NSU grad students working, training, volunteering, and soaking up the culture. Then I head to the majestic Everest region to continue working at our remote schools.
You are invited to share the journey and follow along!
Last days in Dublin
Last days of Ireland in Dublin enjoying St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the archeology Museum, and the great pubs!

Rathlin Island Puffins!
We hiked Rathlin Island cliffs in search of Puffins today. We found a colony and they were amazing to watch nesting! We also found seals along the beach, golden hares, ponies., and the burial site of a Viking chief. Perfect day out in nature.

The “Giant’s Walk”
We are in Game of Thrones Country and it is stunning! We spent the entire day hiking and totally soaking up athe glorious sunshine and sights on the coastline. So glad we chose to hike the day away. It seems we three are always aim sync when just putting one foot in front of the other exploring new parts of the world.

Good morning United Kingdom!
Walking of the hounds, castles, and breakfast at the yacht club -it’s gonna be a good day!

Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
We made a spontaneous decision to take back roads across the border into Northern Ireland to hike to the Giants Walk and the stunning countryside. We wound up lost and knocking on farmhouse doors in the middle of nowhere. Met the nicest couple and found our way with their help. This is our new home away from home.
