So at around 2:30 this morning three men burst into my room with a flashlight! I jumped up, standing on my bed yelling, threw the lamp and my phone block, hit one guy with the lamp! They started yelling sorry, sorry, sorry and falling over one another to get out the door. I really think they were just drunk and lost but there was no sleep after that!i not certain who was more frightened, them or me! 😂

On a Personal Note
Mike Moulton, it is 4;00 am and I am thinking of you, of all the hours you spend preparing, purchasing, thinking of details, picking up food, filling in gaps, packing, and supporting behind the scenes. Did I say purchasing? ❤️ You make so many sacrifices and so many of these special moments with the girls here in Nepal possible. You are one of a kind, You are our unsung hero and I love and appreciate you. It does not go unnoticed!
Celebrating Success
We honored these girls with our celebration dinner and gifts to celebrate their success! This was possible due to many big hearts back home that sent items. A special thanks to Sari, Kris, Elizabeth, and Erica. Look at these smiles! They literally squealed with delight!!!!

Jewelry Making
We brought beautiful beads and charms for the girls to make jewelry! So many bracelets!!! The girls all made them for each other.

Cooking Class
We took over the lodge’s kitchen and cooked Nepali/American dinner together. We had Momo’s, chicken spaghetti, peanut butter & chocolate chip cookies, and carrot pudding.

ENG Updates
Heartfelt and amazing presentation by ENG staff members regarding Current ENG status, success, and challenges

Painting With A Twist Nepali Style
We tried a “painting with a twist” activity with the shadow of a woman. We made the canvases from Popsicle sticks and string. The girls all individualized the paintings and many incorporated ENG.

Finished Product
Each of the fifteen girls used what they learned to create a PowerPoint. Here is Prakrati’s as an example. Some girls had to learn how to turn the computers on and others had experience so they worked in level small groups. Those of you that contribute are changing lives.
Works in Progress…

Computer Workshop
Starting Day 2 with an interactive computer workshop to teach the girls to utilize the donated computers for them to use in their studies. We brought computers in our carry-ons luggage and I am amazed as the students are working together to build tables and powerpoints using information about themselves that will lead to an ice breaker game. Great job NSU
