It was a relatively easy day with brief steep areas but stunning vistas and an overall easy trek. I needed today, my legs and back are feeling the miles.

woke up to a view that no words can adequately describe. Headed out early to clear skies. Things change from here.

The beautiful children

We climb steps up and down ( mostly straight up 3-4 hours at a time. Always deferring to the “traffic” .

Trekking the stunning Kumbu in early spring. Rhododendrons in full bloom, crops flourishing, beautiful aqua milk river, swinging bridges,… I love it all!

So happy to be back in Lukla after 2 years. I love these mountains and these people. So great to see our girls, families, and friends. Crossing under these beautiful gates feels like home.
