We steamed tons of fresh Connemara clams in wine and garlic butter , made fresh stuffed mushrooms, fresh bread, and local cheeses. SO good!

Connemara Bog
We spent this beautiful day hiking across miles and miles of bog. I never realized how beautiful this rugged landscape could be. We chased sheep, hiked to the first transatlantic radio site developed by Marconi.

Connemara Sunrise
Woke up to this today…. spectacular!

Night kayaking in bioluminescent Atlantic Ocean waters
We left the shore at 10:00 tonight to night kayak in the bioluminescent waters of the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Ireland. The conditions were perfect! Sun filled day, full moon, low winds and a temperature of about 59 degrees. It was absolutely perfect! It was like kayaking in the stars. Every time our paddles dipped into the water the bioluminescent plankton would light up like millions of tiny stars glittering beneath the waters. We stayed out for hours and felt like we wanted to stay the entire night. It is about 2:00 am and we are off the water heading for hot showers, a fire, and hot tea. Definitely a night to remember with my guys for a lifetime.
