Four of our university scholarship girls are traveling with us to Borang as interpreters. We are stopping in Bandipur on the way up to take our first climb, gather additional food supplies, and bond. 

Sari is the very best adventure buddy!

This afternoon we spent time talking with our college/University scholarship girls. Remember that college is 11th/12th grade here in Nepal. When ENG started the dream was to see even one or two girls make it to University. Just look at the progress of these beautiful young women.it is overwhelming to see that they have grown up and now, because of scholarship support they are studying bachelors level in medicine, nursing, geometric ingeneering, psychology, business management, and social work! Every donor of scholarship funds has made this possible! Changing lives, educating girls. 

These two girls spent Christmas break sewing hair scrunchies from recycled sari material and using the proceeds from their sales to purchase I.d. Necklaces for all our ENG girls. Amazing example of girls connecting across the world. They also made enough to make an additional donation! The ENG girls LOVE their necklaces! I lam so proud of these two! Love you Sarah Wheat!!’n​

Not certain who had more fun with the face painting.

The morning was spent with our girls distributing scholarships, singing, dancing, and face painting. We provided a refresher package to their safe learning space. This school is utilizing these resources so beautifully. The kids are just amazing! So fill of joy. 

We arrived at Little Moon to all the children and teachers making a tunnel for our entry full of namaste, beautiful marigold necklaces, smiles, and tears of happiness! I love these kids!
