Chocolate for Coping

Once we pulled away and I took a moment to take a breath I realized how exhausted we all were. How dirty, hot, and tired we were. We had one more school to visit so chocolate was definitely in order! I had a large Bar of chocolate in my backpack (always)  ( to share of course)  so I took it out. Did I mention that it is in the 90,s here in the jungle region and there is no such thing as AC here so your clothes stick to you, sweat causes your hair to be soaking wet, the dust makes mud rivets on your face, and it melts your chocolate! But that wouldn’t stop team ENG!!!

me hanging out the window of the cargo truck to give the driver chocolate… and for my next trick…,

guess my choice when i had to pick between breathing and chocolate

torture… you cant lick the melted chocolate off your fingers because they are SO filthy

  1. Happy to hear you have chocolate!!! I was going to send some in your care package but I was afraid it would melt all over!
