BEAUTY FOR ASHES

This afternoon we went to visit beauty for ashes, an organization that provides jobs to young women who are coming out of human trafficking. They employ about 21 women and are working to expand. Try organizationis run out of a house where the women work every day 8 to 4 using their skills to make hats, purses, jewelry, and recycled sari scarves. We spent a wonderful afternoon with these ladies!!! Every room was full of sewing machines, materials, laughter, chatter, and warmth! Beautiful spirits! />IMG_3289.JPG.

  1. Home for Christmas week and it’s 6:30 am. I’m enjoying a cup of half-caf (straight-up) and, bored now that I have finished checking Facebook and MoultonFun.com, I’m browsing around the family room lazily while my mother still sleeps.

What’s this? A CD is a bit odd to see left open face-up on the top edge of some books in the bookshelf, especially unusual at my mother’s house. She turns 95 Christmas eve and really does not know much about playing CDS! I flipped it over and read the label. I gasped! This is only the 2nd time I have ever heard of this in my life, and the first time was only 7 hrs ago on MoultonFun.com! It’s a CD containing the testimony of Carolyn Herrington, founder of “Beauty for Ashes”!

Take care of yourself and recover quickly from your respiratory infection. I’m praying God’s protection and strength for you. May God be glorified through you, Mike and Bryce as you touch lives in Nepal!
